Thinking of starting a career as a prison guard? Before taking this step, make sure you're aware of the risks involved. Life as a correctional officer isn't easy. In fact, it has nothing to do with what you see in movies and TV series. Dating a felon comes with a great deal of challenges. Though the assumption here is that the felon has served his time for whatever crime he was convicted of and is no longer a threat to society, the problem comes with the stigma attached to being with a convict. Pros: He is most likely a man of good morality, and obviously follows the law more than most people. He is protective, this is good because I am assuming you are a woman, and I know that most women like to feel protected and safe with their man. Cons: He will have odd hours, he will at times be stressed out from the job, and if you plan on making this a long term thing or a serious relationship then you may not be able to spend as much time with him as you ideally want to, but then again, if he is a good fellow, at least you will know where he is and that is not at a club trying to pick up a slut. Hopefully he is not insecure, or authoritative to you, but since he is a cop, of course he will be confident, you will have to judge his character, cops are humans just like everybody else, but are also capable of dating, and capable of love just like everyone else as well. That's just my opinion.
