It involves both exploring your identity and sharing your identity with others. Coming out can be a gradual process or one that is very sudden. Coming out can be a very difficult process. Couples therapy for Gay and Lesbian clients is different than their straight counterparts. There are social issues that must be taken into consideration in therapy for these couples.
