Side note: this was my first time in Germany! I arrived to Munich early Friday, maybe around ten. But by the time we got to our campsite, and checked in, it was easily around noon. On Friday, I initially just wanted to check out the city of Munich and possibly go to Oktoberfest later in the evening. Well, we were at the beer halls by 3 pm and spent most of the afternoon there.
